〖猫言猫鱼〗PRODUCT MODIFICATIONS PSOITAL SG The new website is reflecting the new product names for our 3 product categories: Rotary encoders: IXARC Inclinometers: TILTIX: Linear Sensors: LINARIX The IXARC product category contains our well known magnetic and optical encoder program. However, with the launch of the new webpage we also will release some new products and product changes as described below. The TILTIX product category contains our established inclinometer program. The LINARIX product category is new and offers a variety of different draw wire sensors for linear measurement applications. Please refer to the corresponding pages on our internet page. More information will be forwarded to you in the coming weeks. As you noticed many things are changing. Please, do not hesitate to contact us in case you have questions. Product Changes IXARC: Optical New 58 mm Housings - Due to logistics and commercial reasons we will change the supplier for our standard green colored aluminum housings. - As a consequence the green housings will be replaced by steel colored housings with a special silver metallic colored galvanic top coating which is specified for 720 hrs salt spray tests. - As the new housings will have the same mechanical dimensions as the old green versions the main change for the customer is limited towards the color change. We recommend informing your customer about the change, however we don’t think that additional release tests are necessary. If your customer demands release samples please, contact us until the end of June. - The move from the green towards the new silver housings is planned for August-September this year. If we don’t get any further feedback from you the transition will happen without any additional pre-notice. The article names and numbers for our products will remain unchanged. Magnetic Encoder Portfolio: - We overworked the magnetic encoder portfolio regarding new mechanical and electrical connection options. - The new magnetic encoder portfolio will offer o A new series of 36 mm flanges with higher IP ratings (up to IP65 instead of IP54), o Additional shaft and flange versions, o Additional compact housing versions for radial cable and connector exits, o Additional standard cable lengths (1m, 2m, 5m, 10m). In combination with the new flange portfolio we modified the type key. Please, check with the help of the new product finder the corresponding changes. It should be emphasized that the new versions are fully back compatible (except the RJ45 connector which will be discontinued for cable exits in the future). - The old magnetic versions can still be ordered under the old type key. However, you should know that we plan to discontinue the old ones within the next 2-3 months. Please, contact us in case you need release samples for the new version. - For autumn this year we plan to offer a 58 mm flange program for magnetic encoders as well. - For further info please, open the corresponding page on our new online product finder. New Profinet, Ethernet and Powerlink Encoder Platform The machined connection caps of our Profinet, Ethernet IP and Powerlink encoders will be replaced by our standard die-casted connection caps as it is already used in our Profibus encoders. Due to the new design of the connection cap the length of the encoder will get a little bit shorter (see new online datasheets). The new Powerlink encoder platform was completely overworked. It will provide additional interesting features like an integrated HUB, manual addressing option or an integrated round axis. The changes of the Profinet/Ethernet IP platform are limited towards the connection cap. The software and electronics remain unchanged. Accordingly the encoders should be fully back compatible. The old versions can still be ordered under the old type key. However, you should note that we plan to discontinue the old ones within the next 2-3 months. Please, contact us if you need new release samples for the new version until end of June. Regarding the discontinuation of existing products and their replacement, you will get a separate document within the next days more detailed information.

Designed with a modern appearance and user friendly functions the new website emphasizes the wide range of Rotary Encoders, Inclinometers and Linear Sensors that POSITAL offers. A few of our goals with the new website were to make it faster, easier to navigate for general visitors and potential customers and of course easier for you to use during your daily business. The main highlights of the new website are: Product Finder: You can choose the product you want amongst 40,000+ different Rotary Encoders, 200+ Inclinometers and 900+ Linear Sensors! You can filter your selection by specifying all the different product features that you need. Online datasheets, drawings and other documentation can be easily downloaded for each product variant from the webpage. Website Languages: The full website is online now in 11 languages Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish. All languages will be updated on a regular basis. Product Changes: With the launch of the new website we will also publish several coming product innovations and changes. For more information please, read carefully the attached document. Sales Partner Log in Area: The functionality of our new webpage will be extended with a sales partner log in area which is planned with the upcoming release in about 2-3 months from now. There you will have exclusively rights to e.g. access product prices or delivery times. In addition you can get information about many special product versions which will not be displayed to standard website visitors. Regarding the Website Languages we would like to ask you for your help. Please, browse on our new website, read the texts and help us to optimize all translations and content. This way we can make sure that all texts and product features are correctly displayed in every language. Of course we’re open to further suggestions regarding the functionality of our website! Last but not least, we want to ensure you that all links to our previous website will be replaced by functioning links to the new version. With the launch of the new website we will automatically forward existing links and web plug-in implementation to the new appropriate website pages. Especially the new Product Finder should be of interest for you. On demand we can send you the implementation documentation. The official launch of our new website is planned for 17th of June. However, already now we would like to give you the opportunity to test and optimize as described above our new webpage.
