我的 ENGLISH 演讲稿 I HAD A DREAM　　BY 桀纣厉幽　　One should be able to dream and to believe. But there are times when some dreams have to be put aside or even relinquished because they are too far to come true. That is when new dreams come.　　　　I have an unusual dream, as I am older。It became clear to me. It is not about to have a big house, or to have a company of my own. It is to let the world live in peace. This may sound funny to others, but not so if you look the youth dropped in the pool of blood, the young girls who are compelled with degenerated lives, the innocent children sobbing by their dead parents, and old people leaving their villages with nobody to depend on. Have we done anything? What we see are meetings of indifferent, calm observers, and readers of the news. All of these satisfied our cruel curiosities. Yes, the stories have nothing to do with us. They are only people of alien races. They are Muslim, they are Africans, and they are humans but not one of US. They did not do anything wrong. The only mistake they made was living in the wrong place.　　　　For many years, the world has never had a single day of true peace. But, I still had the dream, dreamed that, one day, people could put down man-killing weapons, stretching out both hands to help EACH OTHER on the earth. I still had the dream, dreamed that one day, on the ruins of wars we will build up a building CALLED PEACE. I still had a dream, dreamed that one day, bitter fruits of generation’s hatred can be washed away in the river of forgiveness. I still had a dream, dreamed that one day, tolerance and respect would be part of every religion regardless of where you live and what you believe. I still had a dream that ONE DAY MY DREAM WILL COME TRUE.
