my dream My DreamGood afternoon,Ladies and gentlemen; I am very happy to be here. Today I will give a speech. The Topic is my dream. When I was in the primary school, I have a dream. I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal universtity. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to graduate with excellences. How pathetic! When I grow up, I dream less and become more realistic. Why? Why do I have to change my dreams? Because some of dreams are far away from reality. So I must study hard and shorten the distance between dream and reality. There are a lot of dreams in everyone's hearts. But I want to ask a question,how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? Please raise your hands.Actually, ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. Because every one of us has to make a living with money, right?Ok, now that I'm a university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. But at the same time, I have a dream deeply rooted in my heart. One day, I wish I could become a policeman. I admire their courage. They make the society peaceful. They give us a comfortable life. If you ask me which kind of people I admire? No doubt policeman. Another dream is that one day I'll make my parents lead a happy life, just like this, I can reward their love which they give me forever.There are a lot of dreams in my life. As C.S. lewis once said,"You are never too old to dream a new dream." Because we have dreams, we can live with freedom; because we have dreams, we can make our future become colorful; because we have dreams, we can make the world more and more beautiful. So my dear friends, for our future, please dream and be unrealistic.That's all. Thank you for listening.
