Exclusive Interview with Jim Rash 国外一废柴迷网站的访问.... 原址:community-tv点livejournal点com/763989点html May 20th, 2011 Mary C. Castaneda Staff Writer As part of our Studies in Higher Education week, and just a great way to kick off our Summer School this year in true Greendale fashion, we have an exclusive interview with the amazing and talented Jim Rash. We gathered the best questions submitted by you, and here’s what he had to say: Community 101: First of all, congratulations on another great season! How does it feel closing this season and coming back in the Fall for more? Jim Rash: Fall can't come fast enough. I miss working. It was such a fun season. This is the first series I have been a part of that went more than one season. So, to be going into a third. You can't but help feel so fortunate. C101: dementedriku asks: When you first got cast as the Dean did you know your character would become this integrated with the show? What was the episode that made you feel like you were officially a part of this ensemble cast? JR: No. When auditioning for the pilot, it was listed as "possible recurring," but I don't think I had any idea just how much they would actually end up using me. And, as far as feeling a part of the ensemble, I think one of the wonderful things that Dan Harmon and the writing staff has done over these first two seasons is really develop the whole world of Greendale. The amount of characters that return for numerous visits is inspiring. So, you can't help but feel a part of this show. But for me personally, "Basic Rocket Science" this season and "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" were wonderful gifts. I was so honored to be integral part of those. To be trusted with that much riding on the Dean in the story/plot department. C101: pinkhairedcutie specifically asks What do you think is store for the Dean in the future? JR: I'd love to see the Dean's job in real jeopardy. I think his job is such an important part of his life, so the threat that it might go away would be cool thing to play. And, I'd love to see his home life. I know it's sick and twisted. It has to be. Obviously, this is more of a wishlist rather than what I "think" might be in store. Probably the only thing I think will be a guarantee for next season is more costumes for the Dean. I think I'm not a dress-up doll for Dan and the writers. And I embrace that whole-heartedly. Bring it on! C101: rabidrainbow wonders If you could have any one person guest star on the show, who would it be and why? JR: Dang. That's tough. I read internet rumors/requests calling for Bill Murray (perhaps Jeff's Dad). How could I not jump on board that train? Maybe Moby could walk through a scene - only because I'm regularly mistaken for him. C101: ljubavirakija asks What character interaction would you like to see expanded upon between the Dean and a member of the study group? JR: I've been lucky to have storylines that allowed me to cross paths with almost all of the study group in some capacity. But, aside from a Jeff/Dean story where Jeff is forced to spend some one on one time with the Dean, I'd love to get to the bottom of what Dean thinks of Britta. On one or two occasions, the Dean declared "Ugh" to something Britta said - I think he has issues with her in some capacity. Maybe the fact that she has hooked up with Jeff?
