【TOM】TOM'S CAR!王子的车~ 旁边是他的哥哥~Chilton "Mayhem" as Chilton takes Harry Potter star for a spin!By Dave Brockman: 5 June 2004 Tom Chilton and Tom Felton (click to enlarge) Tom Chilton has put in some magical performances on track, and this morning (Saturday) he cast a spell on Harry Potter star Tom Felton, subjecting him to some high speed driving for the ITV1 show Ministry Of Mayhem. Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the blockbuster movies, was taking part in an live interview when Chilton tore into the studio at the wheel of his BTCC Honda Civic type R - leaving two streaks of Dunlop's finest on the floor. Presenter Stephen Mulhern described what was to come, and the actor - though shocked at first - declared himself "definately up for it" as he beamed excitedly. The action moved outside to a specially constructed track in an artificially soaked car park, where a road-going version of the Civic was waiting. Strapped in alongside Chilton, and with a mini-TV camera capturing every facial expression, were there any last minute nerves? "I'm pretty excited, really looking forward to it," declared Felton. After the obligitory "I'm a professional, don't try this at home" warning from the youngest ever BTCC race winner, the car and passenger were put through a series of high speed handbake turns, reverse J-turns and sudden braking; Chilton lighting up the tyres and filling the air with smoke. Tom Chilton driving at Ministry of Mayhem The whole sequence lasted little over a minute but for Tom Felton it was the ride of his life. "I could do that all day!" he said as the car came to a halt. Practice clearly makes perfect, as Chilton revealed that he had rehearsed the stunt several times. Things nearly didn't go to plan though, as he told us. "I had Holly Willoughby sitting with me at one point, and although of course I would never show off in front of an attractive woman I was carrying a little too much speed and almost wiped out my own road car which was parked there at the time!" The experience has left the young star with a desire to do more competitive racing. In September he will start driving lessons as he turns 17, and can't wait to get behind the wheel of his BMW 318 coupe - although hopefully he won't be trying to replicate any of the moves he leared from Chilton. Tom Chilton lights up the tyres at Ministry of Mayhem For the Surrey based driver the day was a welcome break from his fitness and training regime, as Tom prepares not only for the forthcoming meeting at Mondello Park, but also the London to Brighton cycle ride which he will enter raising money for the British Heart Foundation. The 58 mile ride takes place on June 20 and Tom will be accompanied by his personal fitness trainer Bernie Scrosbree, who has coached names such as Colin McRae, Mark Webber and Ralph Firman. Also taking part will be Under 19's award-winning rugby player Edward Sayce, a friend of Tom's with whom he trains regularly. The BTCC will receive even more national TV coverage when SEAT Sport driver Jason Plato drops in on Hell's Kitchen, his racing experience giving him ample preparation for Gordon Ramsay's temper and tantrums!
