They will not pick until the second round, where they have the 59th overall pick.,San Antonio won 63 games during the 2005-06 campaign, but was eliminated in seven games by the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference semifinals. All-Stars Tony Parker and Tim Duncan are the big guns for the Spurs. Parker led the club in scoring (18.9 ppg) and assists (5.8 apg), while Duncan averaged 18.6 points and a team-high 11.0 rebounds per game. Manu Ginobili missed 17 games this past season because of injuries. The former All-Star contributed 15.1 points, 3.5 boards and 3.6 assists in 65 outings. He is still the spark that ignites the Spurs. Veterans Brent Barry, Bruce Bowen, Michael Finley, Robert Horry and Nazr Mohammed play a big part in San Antonio's success, while guard Beno Udrih is still improving. The Spurs will stay the course and try and add a veteran in the offseason that can help them when the playoffs roll around. With the 59th overall pick, San Antonio will select the best player left on its draft board.
