重温...的英文,+ 以温暖做比喻..?? anybody well, i was wondering if anybody knows whats the English word for 重温, I was trying to explain this word to some native English speakers but they didn't really get what i was trying to say ..and i couldn't think of one perfect translation for it !! so anybody? 以温暖做比喻..?? when i was in 3rd year( 初3)i wrote a essay i was trying to contrast the cold weather with my feeling ..中文是,虽然外面的天气很冷,但是我心里感觉很温暖,but the teacher says it was just not right she couldn't explain why tho, she said in English we don't say such thing...what i was was even though the weather is really cold but i feel warm inside,(in my heart) i couldn't remember , something like that..so doesnt anybody know why is that? or is that just a Chinese thing ?
